What do I do with my turkey until I'm ready to serve it?
Keep it chilled and take it out a few hours before it's time to eat (keep it away from the dog!) and let it come to room temperature. For more questions like this one, don't hesitate to give us a call. We offer the BBQ catering locals love!

How do I reheat my turkey?
Our smoked turkey is best served at room temperature. Should you choose to warm it, we suggest putting it in the oven in a pan over a little water so it doesn't dry out. At Caveman Kitchen, we're not just a BBQ catering company, we are a smokehouse with many years of experience. Call us today today to learn about our menu items!

What can I do with the bones and carcass?
Do not give poultry bones to your dog because they splinter and could cause problems. We have a much better idea. Make some DELICIOUS smoked turkey stock perfect for soup or pho. If you don't have time right away, throw the bones in a ziplock bag and stick them in the freezer. Here is a simple broth recipe: Simply place the turkey carcass, garlic, vegetables (like an onion, carrots, or celery), herbs (like parsley, rosemary, or thyme), and peppercorns in a large, deep-bottomed pan. Add cold water to cover and bring to a boil, skim, then turn the heat down to a simmer. Continue to simmer gently for three to four hours, skimming as necessary, then pass the stock through a fine sieve. Are you hosting an event soon? Consider BBQ catering from Caveman Kitchen.
